OF BECOMING
From the Audience
"I was totally blown away. From the very beginning, that incredible opening. I had my eyes closed and when I opened them she was there. It was like being in someone else's dream.
"About Vak: it was true yoga. Connection. It was powerful because you were all embodying the Yoga, which is cyclical, magical, challenging, reciprocal. It felt like such a thorough representation of the Universe- you all moved as one, and the audience was part of this One. I FELT it."
"Somehow everything made sense, everything was so resonant and visceral. The existential quest for self and meaning and context. And all in a womb of exquisite sound."
"It was amazing! I have never been in an audience that was so still and attentive, all due to the mesmerizing quality of the performance.
"Ann has an incredible voice, and together with the musicians and the chorus, tapped into a part of my brain/consciousness that has never been so profoundly affected by a performance... it felt wonderful."
From the Choir
"Yesterday I sang in the shower, but it was a PUBLIC shower at my community pool! I sang "Jai Ambe" and another swimmer in the locker room said "You have a beautiful voice." That has never happened."
"I want to thank you for inviting me into a very very new and breath-giving world...(it) pushed me into new layers of life."
"We are each so very blessed to have been part of this journey, our hearts are broken open and we look forward to our next adventure with you!"
